The student job posting will be for "pool" positions.  Please contact Andrew Quainton with any questions about which departments may be hiring at 907-474-6939 or andrewq@alaska.edu.

Volunteer!

Each Museum department has unique needs for volunteers - from guiding school children through the Museum's galleries to helping prepare specimens for the permanent collection. In most cases, little or no experience is necessary - staff will give you all the training you need.
  • To volunteer in the Museum's collections, contact the department you wish to work with.

Volunteers receive free admission to the Museum and invitations to exhibits and events.
