With modern conveniences, we maintain traditional values and ties to the land, the sea, and the animals. But, we also are a modern people, with jobs, cars, boats, guns, modern housing, and our own local government. By including both traditional and modern items and practices, we demonstrate both the continuity and the changes that exist within our culture.
