Planning the People of Whaling Exhibit - Staff Activities

Training:

Inupiat Heritage Center (IHC) staff received training in all aspects of exhibit preparation, design, and installation.

IHC staff members are prepared to do their own future maintenance of cases and displays as well as additional exhibit installation.

Part of the training occurred with the 2001 installation of a special exhibit of Alaskan dolls borrowed from University of Alaska Museum of the North (Not Just A Pretty Face).

IHC staff has learned how to take better care of objects and have gained knowledge that they can use to create future exhibits and make the IHC a lively place well into the future.
