Made
in Fairbanks
In and around these necessities of life in Fairbanks appear the
gifts of imagination. These works come from blinding obsession,
prayerful devotion, or calculated organization—all from
an unexplainable urge to create. Waking up to the day’s
opportunity—creating, innovating, testing, erasing, and
starting all over again. Technology has streamlined some of the
work, enhanced the dialog, and freed up some time.
Time to talk,
laugh, love. Life.
It’s
a good day—eyes open. Look around.

Our guest curators have invited us along into their friends and
colleagues' living rooms, studios, garages, lives and conversations.
Some of these are lifelong relationships of mulling over a favored
drink, an idea, technique; in between shepherding children, dogs;
celebrating life and death; on the way to work. The things of
every day make our town home. Talk amongst yourselves—the
subject Made In Fairbanks.
