Homeschool Day

Enjoy a day designed for you!

Homeschool Day at the museum is held annually in October. Meet other homeschool parents and families, learn about our programs, explore the museum, and enjoy hands-on activities in the Education Center. Check with your homeschool network for information.

Plan your visit

Print the activity sheet you like or find at home activities on our activities and resources page.

Some activity sheets and special discovery boxes are available in our Family room (upstairs).

Public Programs

Take your family to the museum and connect with science and art  through hands-on activities. Education and Public Programs hosts Family Days, week-end programing and more. See the museum's events page for upcoming opportunities. To learn first-hand about our activities, sign up for our museum monthly e-news.

Kits & Hands-on Objects

Take museum objects at home and learn from them!

Kits are available to homeschool families through their contact teacher. If you are interested in one of our kits, talk to your contact teacher. Loans are for two weeks and available during the academic year only.

Visit our Kits page.
