Explore Alaska!
Museum Education offers a variety of community programs for all ages to explore Alaska’s natural and cultural history. Year round offerings include lectures, demonstrations, and family programs. Check the events calendar for a complete list of opportunities for both children and adults.
Current offerings:
Summer Art Tours!
Explore the Rose Berry Alaska Art Gallery with a docent.
Daily at 7 PM through summer.
Additional tours Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays at 5:30 PM.
Free with Museum admission.
Open Education Center
See and touch hands-on objects and visit with our youth volunteers. Great for kids and adults alike!
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 2-4 PM through July.
Free with Museum admission.
Auditorium Shows
Multiple showings of Dynamic Aurora and Winter occur daily through August. $5 show pass can be purchased for access to all shows.

Volunteer!
Educational programs are often brought to you by members of the Fairbanks community. Volunteers teach school children, guide tours, and more. If you are interested in being a part of one of our volunteer programs, send us an email (museum.education@uaf.edu).
