Alaska Botanical Forum 2008

Thursday-Friday April 17-18, 2008

University of Alaska Museum of the North Auditorium on the West Ridge of UAF Campus, Fairbanks, AK

The 2008 Alaska Botanical Forum (formerly known as the Alaska Rare Plant Forum) will be held Thursday-Friday April 17-18 in Fairbanks in the new auditorium at the University of Alaska Museum of the North on the west ridge of the UAF campus. A Google map is available for the area as well as an interactive campus map

The Museum Herbarium will host the meetings, and Curator Steffi Ickert-Bond will put together the meeting agenda.

Remember these meetings are open (and free) to all interested in Alaska's flora, so pass the word to others we may have missed! It's the one opportunity Alaskan field botanists have to meet in one room.

We are interested in presentations pertaining to plant systematics, phytogeography, floristics and rare plants.

Send a note directly to Steffi (or call at 907-474-6277) requesting the time you need, and a favored day and time so we can start putting together a schedule that works for everyone. And, if you would like to be removed from this mailing list, please let us know.
