Podcasts are audio or video files that can be downloaded for personal use online, largely using RSS feeds. You do not need an iPod to listen to or watch podcasts, just a computer.

What is iTunes U?
iTunes U is an area in the iTunes Store that offers multimedia content from colleges and universities around the world.

How do I get started?

Is UAF on iTunes U part of the iTunes Store?
Yes! You may now access UAF on iTunes U directly from the iTunes Store. Other UAF podcasts are also available in the iTunes Store outside of iTunes U. Search for "UAF" under the Podcast section to find this content.

Do I need a logon ID and password to use UAF on iTunes U?
No. Anyone can download the content from UAF on iTunes U. Some areas may be limited to the UA community only, and in the future certain course content may be limited to student of that class. Authentication is required to publish podcasts at UAF on iTunes U. If you are a member of the UA community, login to the UA-authenticated UAF iTunes U page.

Where in iTunes is the content I downloaded from UAF on iTunes U?
Content downloaded from UAF on iTunes U appears in a smart playlist called "UAF" in the playlists section of the iTunes application.
