Outdoor Installation of Vending Machines on the UAF Campus

Background
The question of approval for outside installation of vending machines was received at the chancellor's office and forwarded to the committee.

Action
Following a brief discussion, a motion was made and approved unanimously to recommend against any outdoor installation of vending machines on campus. Issues arising during the discussion included vandalism and campus image (in part an esthetics issue).

MOTION
The Master Planning Committee recommends to the chancellor that vending machines be disallowed in exterior spaces on the UAF campus.
