Subject:	MPC recommendation 04-05: Approval of UAF North Campus Plan

At its regular meeting on June 17, the UAF Master Planning Committee unanimously approved the following recommendation (MPC 04-05) regarding the UAF North Campus Plan (attached). A quorum was established; eight of 17 MPC members were present.

The recommendation reads:

The Master Planning Committee moves to adopt the UAF North Campus Plan and to forward it to the Chancellor for review and approval (Motion--Davis, second--Horner; vote 8 yeas, 0 nays, 0 abstentions).

The recommended plan is based upon the excellent work of the MPC's North Campus Subcommittee. The MPC expresses its sincere appreciation to Richard Boone, Peter Fix, Michael Hay, and the members of the subcommittee for their work. Furthermore, it expresses appreciation to Deb Horner for her dedication and commitment in supporting the committee's efforts to craft this plan.
