Subject:	MPC recommendation 04-04: Approval of UAF Campus Landscape Plan

At its regularly scheduled meeting on April 22, 2004, the UAF Master Planning Committee unanimously approved the following recommendation (MPC 04-04) regarding the UAF Campus Landscape Plan (attached). The recommendation reads:

The Master Planning Committeee moves to adopt the UAF Campus Landscape Plan as presented by the ad hoc Campus Landscape and Outdoor Artwork Subcommittee and to forward it to the Chancellor for review and approval (Motion--Craven, second--Seifert; vote 8 yeas, 0 nay, 0 abstentions).

The recommended plan is based upon the work of the consultant Wallace, Roberts, Todd (WRT) and the MPC’s ad hoc Campus Landscape and Outdoor Artwork Subcommittee.

The MPC expresses its sincere appreciation to members of the ad hoc committee and to Deb Horner who led this effort. It also appreciates the work of Glen Kravitz in Facilities Services who provided excellent support in development of the final product.
