Moore Hall Antenna Placement Request from Fairbanks North Star Borough School District

At its regularly scheduled meeting on July 24, 2003, the UAF Master Planning Committee (MPC) unanimously approved the following recommendation regarding placement of an antenna array on Moore Hall as requested by the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District (FNSBSD). We request your review and approval of this recommendation.

Consistent with UAF policy, the MPC approved this recommendation following technical review and a favorable recommendation from Facilities Services. We did so mindful of the positive contribution that this makes to community educational efforts and the benefits that can accrue longterm from UAF-FNSBSD collaboration in the IT field.

RECOMMENDATION: The UAF Campus Master Planning Committee recommends approval of the FNSBSD proposal (dated 3.24.03 and submitted in revised form 7.24.03) to install antennas for educational purposes on the Moore Hall penthouse.
