Chief Justice of the Alaska Supreme Court Dana Fabe, the first woman to hold the highest judgeship in the state, will join UAF Chancellor Marshall Lind and his wife Lois this Friday to open the historical exhibit "Pioneering Paths: Photos and Excerpts from the Women in Law Archive." The public is also invited to participate in the opening, along with members of the Alaska legal community and UAF's pre-law students.

The Women in Law exhibit was commissioned by the Alaska Bar Association's Gender Equality Task Force, co-chaired by Justice Fabe. Although not a practicing attorney, Neokok served as magistrate in Barrow for many years. She received an honorary doctor of laws degree from UAF in 1987.
