UAF's Office of Equal Opportunity, Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Latino Culture Club are sponsoring "Latina Fiebre" during the month of April. The event will kick off on Friday, April 7 from noon to 2 p.m. in the Wood Center Conference Room C-D with a panel discussion. Topics include "The Educational Status of Latinos in the U.S.," featuring UAF assistant professor of education Maria Elena Reyes and "UAF's Role in Recognizing the Growing Latino Presence in Alaska," with associate professor of forestry extension emeritus Tony Gasbarro.

April 8, 7 - 10 p.m. - Latino Movie Night - Schaible Auditorium

April 11, 1 - 3 p.m. - Music and Dancing - Wood Center Multilevel Lounge

April 13, 6 - 9 p.m. - Spanish Literature Group - Copper Lane House

April 18, 1 - 3 p.m. - Salsa Tasting Contest - Wood Center Multilevel Lounge
