Banners are to be 30" x 84", two-sided and hung from the light posts.

Exterior- or marine-grade fabric such as Sunbrella should be used for banners that need to last for two or more years. Vinyl can be used for banners that are to hang for less than one year.

Preliminary design must be reviewed and approved by UAF Marketing and Communications before the banners are produced. Send a PDF to Jan Stitt at jgstitt@alaska.edu for review along with your preference in placement. Banner designs should convey a single message simply and clearly. Graphic standards can be found at: www.uaf.edu/logo/.

Placement requests will be reviewed and authorized by UAF Marketing and Communications. Facilities Services will hang the banners and provide the brackets. Contact Ed Foster at efoster@fs.uaf.edu to get this scheduled and provide an account number to pay for the hanging cost.

Facilities Services will work with Marketing and Communications to determine placement of the banners.
