MA in Applied Linguistics

The MA in Applied Linguistics is designed to serve individuals who are interested in applied language work, with a special focus on community-based approaches to language documentation and revitalization. Degree recipients will be prepared to teach adults at the community college level, to work on materials and curriculum for Alaska Native languages, or to teach abroad-jobs for which K-12 certification is not required. Additionally, the program will appeal to language teachers who already are certified and who seek a Master of Arts Degree.

If you are interested in pursuing a graduate degree in linguistics at UAF, contact a linguistics faculty member or send mail to linguist@www.uaf.edu.
