LIVE

LIVE--Leadership, Involvement & Volunteer Experience

Attention UAF Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors!

The LIVE program is now accepting applications for the 2012-2013 Chancellor’s Leadership Academy, a yearlong cohort leadership development program.

Through participation in this program, students will learn more about effective communication, collaboration, appreciating diversity, clarified values, social responsibility, controversy with civility and much, much more!

Throughout the program, participants will complete a number of activities, including an off campus retreat, monthly leadership development seminars, community service projects, and a Social Change Project which will address an underlying social issue on an individual, institutional, community, national and/or global level. Students participating in the Chancellor’s Leadership Academy will also be paired with a mentor.   Upon completion of the program, UAF students will be better equipped to lead groups and others and create positive change in their communities on a local, national and global scale.
