The German program at UAF offers courses in German language, literature and culture. Students have the opportunity to acquire a high degree of language proficiency, as well as an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the intellectual and cultural history of German-speaking countries. Students may earn a major or minor in German or combine their German concentration with another language.
