Heather Taggard - Host
 Heather
Taggard is a photojournalist from Fairbanks, Alaska. She is perhaps
best known for her hyper-imagination and animation in any given
situation though clearly her adaptability to temperature change and
willingness to go without sleep made Heather an ideal host for the
first season of Anywhere, Alaska.
Whether hopping a small plane to visit her friends above the
Arctic Circle or traveling eight easy hours to the next town in a
frosted van, she enjoys the journey (summer or winter) as much as the
destination. Hosting a show sharing Alaska's gorgeous terrain, wildlife, people and culture is a dream come true for this lifelong public television viewer.
In addition to freelance shooting and writing for Alaska newspapers, she owns 49 Designs, a creative company devoted to educational entertainment and the arts. For fun, she plays and coaches basketball, explores music, and hangs with her family and crew.
