Conference Format

Participants are invited to submit papers that will provide a springboard for "Five Questions." We will again use an open forum for discussion of the questions with your colleagues from around the world. Please email your papers and/or suggested questions to Brian Jarrett at bnjarrett@alaska.edu.

This year, like last, we will run the Symposium in the style of an online town-hall meeting.  Please appoint one facilitator at your institution who will be responsible for taking questions and steering the group at the local site, as we move from site to site.  Like last year, we will tackle five major questions organized around the paper submissions and we will move from site to site as we answer those questions.  We will leave lots of space for folks to ask individual questions at local sites and allow contributors from any site to tackle them and engage in a lively back-and-forth discussion.  Last year, people noted that they really liked the reporting on local projects and found this a very useful way of knowing what is going on in the field in a variety of locations.  We therefore encourage folks to talk about practical projects in ADR, RJ, and TJ at their local sites as well as theoretical aspects. This is a great opportunity for information exchange with your international colleagues!
