The exam setting:

• You will be expected to answer the exam questions without the aid of your notes or books.
• All exams will be administered in a computer lab. Your answers must be typed.
• The exam will be administered over the course of a single day.

Comprehensive Examinations will cover:
You will be required to answer one question from each of the following core areas:

• Justice 615
• Justice 620
• Justice 625
• Justice 640
• Justice Elective (Media, Juveniles, Ethics, or Statistical Analysis)

Students will need to specify which elective area they will receive a question from.

Grading of Examinations:

• The exams will be graded on a pass/fail basis.
  
• Each core area will be graded.
  
• You are required to take the examination during the Summer Capstone class offered at UAF.

Retaking Examinations:

1. You will only have three chances to pass the exam. If you do not pass during your three attempts you will not complete the program.
2. You must wait at least 6 months before you are eligible to retake the exam.
