MASTERS OF ADMINISTRATION IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE
COMPREHENSIVE EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS:
The exam setting:
- You will be expected to answer the exam questions without the aid of
your notes or books.
- All exams will be administered in a computer lab. Your answers must
be typed.
- The exam will be administered over the course of a single day.
Comprehensive Examinations will cover:
You will be required to answer one question from each of the following
core areas:
- Justice 615
- Justice 620
- Justice 625
- Justice 640
- Justice Elective (Media, Juveniles, Ethics, or Statistical Analysis)
Students will need to specify which elective area they will receive a question
from.
Grading of Examinations:
- The exams will be graded on a pass/fail basis.
- Each core area will be graded.
- You are required to take the examination during the Summer Capstone class
offered at UAF.
Retaking Examinations:
- You will only have three chances to pass the exam. If you do not pass
during your three attempts you will not complete the program.
- You must wait at least 6 months before you are eligible to retake the
exam.
