Here at UAF Journalism, our photo classes just don't send you away with knowledge that won't get you anywhere in life. We ready our students for the next step after college by introducing them to a variety of avenues to choose from after they graduate. In the real world, it's not about just showing experience at a four-year college but also being able to showcase your work from college in a professional way. Although we do the same for our video and news writing students, we're looking to begin showcasing student work from our photography classes here on the website. Many of these portfolios have doubled as final projects in our classes while individual examples, as they may come, are considered the cream of the crop.
