The most recent UAF policy regarding the use of recombinant DNA, artifical gene transfer, infectious agents and biologically derived toxins (including all Select Agents) was approved on 9/9/05. The following links will connect you to policies that may be related to your research or teaching activites:

• Biosafety in Research & Teaching
• Animal Care & Use (i.e. for developing transgenic vertebrates)
• Protection of Human Research Participants ( i.e. for gene therapy trials)

The IBC Procedures are being revised. Please contact the Office of Research Integrity if you need clarification regarding the policies or procedures.
