Interior-Aleutians Campus

Mission

To build motivation of student participants to persist in formal education today and throughout the postsecondary level using tools of academic enrichment, personal growth and development.

Ten Hunee Daal’oye, Trail Markers, is an Upward Bound program sponsored by Interior-Aleutians Campus for the purpose of providing participants with postsecondary preparation. Ten Hunee Daal’oye assists students with achieving and maintaining academic and personal success at the secondary level, building a solid foundation for their individual college aspirations. The target schools are Effie Kokrine Charter School and Lathrop High School and students must meet certain criteria.

We are Trail Markers

Neal Charlie, Minto Elder

"We still use the old way of marking the rail with sticks.  The first man out on the trail after the new snow puts out willow sticks so when the trail drivs over, the next one will see them and won't get lost.  Student attending the University are like trail marker, leading the way to success for other students..."
