Kayli Hildebrand
Facilitator
I am from the village of Northway, Alaska, where I have lived my whole life until 2009 when I graduated and moved here to Fairbanks for college. I am currently a student here at the UAF, going on my 4th year, and I am majoring in Social Work with a minor in business. I have not yet really figured out with my future plans are, but I do know that I want to work with children and teenagers. I am an auntie to three handsome nephews and one gorgeous little niece, I must say that those babies are my world, and if I could I would be with them every single day, they do make me the happiest auntie.
One of the main, big interests in my in my life is basketball. I have been playing it since high school, where my team went to state my junior and senior year. Now I mainly play for fun in all the native tournaments or in city league when I can. A few other things that I like are running, working out,
shopping on the internet, being on the river, laying in the sun, playing baseball, and I really love traveling mainly to warm places, but also to Seattle to visit my older sister, and to Nulato as well, which is where my dad is from and a lot of my family.
My job title is a Facilitator here at the Interior- Aleutians Campus. I have worked here for three years. I do a little bit of everything, registering students, entering their test scores, making copies, shredding, filing, faxing, emailing, answering phone lines, keeping track of inventory, scanning, helping out the other faculty and staff with projects, a lot of work on the computer with word and excel, helping to keep the building clean, and a lot more. Also, for the past two summers I have helped out with the I-AC Upward Bound program, which is where I figured out that I wanted to work with kids.
