Heather Gutierrez works as a Facilitator for both Rural Human Services and Construction Trades Technology. She joined I-AC in February of 2012. Heather is Koyukon Athabascan and originally from Galena. She graduated from Galena in 2002 which she then moved to Fairbanks to attend UAF. After taking general courses for 2 years she decided to take time off and work. During her time off, she married her husband Chris and had 2 wonderful boys, Jase and Jaiden. She also moved to Colorado Springs for 2 years while her husband completed his degree. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and helping others. Heather recently started back at UAF to finish her degree in nursing.
