To earn a certificate in the Microcomputer Support Specialist Program, you need to earn 32-33 credits in the areas listed below. Credit for prior learning may be granted and students with competency in a specific area may "test out" of that course. The core required courses must be taken.

General university requirements are different for students seeking a certificate and students seeking an associates degree. Students who may later wish to complete an associates degree should review the Associate of Applied Science Degree Checklist.

Courses can be taken from UAF, UAS, UAA, campus centers or by distance delivery, registration is through your local campus. Students will design a program of study with a mentor developing an Individual Education Plan, soon to be online.
