Opportunities
Honors encourages every member to become engaged with the program through activities outside academic avenues. Students frequently plan events for fun, service and learning experiences. The staff contributes to the Honors community by listening to student suggestions and ideas to create great events with an academic twist be it traveling to Presidential inaugurations, or going Harding Lake during Orientation week for a relaxing weekend getaway and mushroom hunt with our expert mycologist in residence Dr. Laursen.
Although not listed under this section, Honors Student Advisory Council is a great way for students, especially new ones, to get involved with the program and to meet other Honors students.
