Welcome to the homepage of the UAF chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon (GTU). GTU is an international honor society in geography that is represented on the UAF campus by the Eta Iota chapter.

This website's purpose is to represent UAF GTU on the internet and serve as a site where information on upcoming and past club-related events can be made readily available.

About Eta Iota Chapter

Cartography Lab Our membership roster for Spring Semester 2000 lists twelve active members including our faculty advisor.

We meet in the Duckering Building on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus, room 366 (see left, Cartography Lab), across from the Geography Department.

UAF GTU works with the Geography Department and its faculty, professors Ken Barrick and Cary de Wit, to further the department's mission of higher education in Geography, and to promote student interest in geographical knowledge and awareness.
