REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Registration for graduate classes is an easy process at UAF:

New Graduate Student:
As a first time graduate student you will need to fill out your personal registration form and have your department advisor sign off on your class selection. You can review the registration process at http://www.uaf.edu/reg/schedule/webreg.html. Don’t forget to print out your registration form under the “check your registration availability” link on your UA Online account. After your advisor signs your registration form you’ll need to turn it into the Registrar’s Office to become active in the registration system. Once you've been activated, you can register for classes. You can find the current course schedule online at www.uaf.edu/reg/schedule/webreg.html or contact your home department for current class information.

Continuing Graduate Student:
Graduate students are encouraged to see their academic advisors to plan their schedules of classes. No registration forms are necessary for continuing graduate students.

NOTE (graduate students only): If you register for a course that is not on your Graduate Study Plan (GSP), the course may not count toward your graduation requirements. In addition, if your tuition is paid through a grant, fellowship or stipend, courses must be approved by your committee to be funded.
