UAF Teaching Assistant Training Program

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is responsible for developing, and updating the guidelines for the TA training course. The guidelines for a TA training courses (see below) will be used by the Steering Committee to review departmental requests for tuition waiver. The Committee will make recommendations regarding the tuition wavier for the departmental TA training course to the Graduate School.

The Graduate School will provide a tuition waiver, for graduate teaching assistants (GTAs) to take an approved one-credit graduate-level TA training course, based on the Steering Committee's recommendation.
