Rausch Scholarship Award Amount: $2,500 Deadline: February 15 (Please see the application for the actual deadline each year, it is adjusted for years where February 15 falls on a weekend.) Date of Award: Fall & Spring About the Robert L. and Virginia R. Rausch Scholarship: Robert L. Rausch studied health and medical problems in Alaska for many years. His love of the North led him to learn the Inupiaq language, further cementing his friendships and working partnerships with the native people of the North. He received an honorary doctorate of science from UAF in 1987. His wife Virginia Rausch earned a bachelor's degree in history from UAF in 1968. The Robert L. and Virginia R. Rausch Scholarship is awarded each year to an outstanding graduate student who meets the following criteria:
Note: Award recipient must be enrolled full-time (nine credits - no audits) while receiving the award.
