The University of Alaska Fairbanks’ Development office works in close consultation with faculty and staff in all schools, colleges, centers, programs, and institutes of the University to develop productive and lasting relationships with corporate and foundation donors. Our primary objective is to develop funding proposals that reflect University priorities and the creative and innovative thinking of our faculty, students, staff, and administration.  

Private, philanthropic gifts directly support the University of Alaska Fairbanks’ mission and enhance the quality of life for Alaskans. The generosity of private donors creates opportunities for teaching, learning and services that would not otherwise be possible. Corporate and Foundation gifts are an important partnership and an avenue of private funding that is critical to our mission.
