Development’s mission is to fundraise for the University of Alaska Fairbanks in order to support UAF’s greater mission of education, research and cultural outreach that it fulfills every day. As part of our shared goal of providing a high-quality education, increasing workforce development, and ensuring a brighter future for all Alaskans, Development is committed to reducing student debt to make education accessible and affordable.

Part of the role of Development is to ensure our donors that their gifts are being used in the manner that they wished. To that end, our Stewardship program is devoted to keeping donors and friends of UAF informed and aware of the uses of their gifts, with annual reports and gift receipts from
UA Foundation, as well as through acknowledgment, events, publications and special announcements.
