Anthropology Departmental Support: The Anthropology Department support fund in the College of Liberal Arts supports a variety of activities that increase the academic experience for undergraduate and graduate students, staff and faculty in the department. This fund has been used to send graduate students to present their research at symposiums, fund faculty field research in the Interior and beyond as well as plug the gaps in the department's budget when opportunities arise. Your gift makes a difference to the fields of anthropology, archaeology and beyond.

Dr. Joseph Thompson Memorial: Dr. Joseph C. Thompson’s life was dedicated to learning, teaching and the pursuit of truth. We are honored to join with his spouse, Dr. Trina Mamoon and his family, friends, students and colleagues to establish the Dr. Joseph Thompson Memorial fund. With your help, this fund will become endowed and last in perpetuity to impact students for generations to come. If after 5 years the minimum endowment level hasn't been reached, gifts will be spent in Joseph’s honor. This fund will benefit students directly through scholarships and also provide support for lecture events to honor Dr. Thompson’s contributions to his fields of inquiry: philosophy and the humanities.

Kleinfeld Northern Studies Student Research Endowment: The UAF Northern Studies program is a unique research unit at UAF. Its faculty and graduate students conduct research on a wide and deep spectrum of topics. Undergraduate and graduate students are often faced with costs associated with doing research such as equipment, supplies, travel and presentation materials. Your gift to this fund creates more research capacity and opportunity for northern studies students and faculty. The Northern Studies program is a funding priority for the College of Liberal Arts. For more information, please visit the Northern Studies program website.

Theatre UAF Support: For many decades, Theatre UAF has entertained and inspired us. The Theatre UAF Support fund allows Theatre UAF to purchase materials ranging from makeup to sophisticated technical equipment. This fund also supports ongoing outreach efforts of Theatre UAF and the needs of the staff and faculty who work every day to bring high quality theatre to Fairbanks and to the UAF community.

CLA Dean's Discretionary: The UAF College of Liberal Arts has a deeply powerful charge: preserving the social sciences, fine arts and humanities in our state and preparing the next generation for jobs and for life. The students who attend our college do so because they are unique. We have a degree program to fit each student and will offer the right tools to help them reach their goals. Your support of the dean's discretionary fund allows us to take advantage of student-led opportunities for research support, creative scholarship, exhibit creation and more. This fund also supports faculty and staff as they strive to make ends meet while still attaining excellence in the liberal arts.

UAF Annual Fund: Through annual giving at UAF, alumni, parents, employees and friends support the university’s areas of immediate and greatest need, including scholarships, fellowships, equipment, facilities maintenance and renovation, research and faculty recruitment and retention.
