Ross Imbler

Ross Imbler has worked for the University of Alaska Fairbanks since the summer of 2010 and joined the Development team in April of 2011. In his current role as Director of Annual Giving, Ross oversees the Annual Giving Program, which utilizes a variety of communication strategies to reach out to alumni and friends to gain annual support for UAF. Ross previously served as the UAF Annual Giving Coordinator.

Ross is a two-time graduate of the University of Alaska Fairbanks and holds a baccalaureate in Sociology (2008) and a master’s in Professional Communication (2010). In addition to his work for UAF’s Development Office, Ross teaches Communication and Sociology classes for UAF’s Community and Technical College. Teaching gives him the opportunity to directly impact the lives of students while keeping him personally in touch with the benefactors of his work at the Development Office.

Ross has lived in Alaska for over 15 years and in Fairbanks since 2005. The highlights of his days are the family walks with his wife Charu (UAF alumna ’10 & ’14), daughter Sitara, and family dog, Apples.
