Chris Sanville was born and raised in White Bear Lake, Minnesota and only moved to Alaska in June of 2012. Interested in Development work on a broad scale, he volunteers twice a week at the UAF Development Office, doing whatever needs doing. He hopes to gain a diverse range of experience at the UAF Development Office to carry with him into his future career.
When not volunteering with UAF, Chris works for the Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks and heads both the Lathrop and North Pole High School Ski teams along with his fellow coaches. After skiing four years for Bowdoin College and graduating Cum Laude, Chris decided that he needed more snow and made the switch to Alaska. In his rare moments of free time he enjoys writing and attempting to sell articles to a variety of outdoor magazines.
