The Work Management - Customer Service Center (The Center) exists to offer quality customer service to the university community as well as supporting the various divisions within Facilities Services in their mission by accurately collecting, processing, transferring, sharing and reporting information and data.
As the communication hub of many of the divisions within Facilities Services, The Center is the first contact with our customers. In cooperation with the UAF Fire and Police Emergency Dispatch Center, we provide 24-hour customer service, 365 days a year.
Currently, the Center processes approximately 15,000 work requests per year, requiring data entry of over 52,000 multi-entry recording forms, which processes over $11 million in labor and material charges per year.
The Center also provides system reporting, radio communications, billing processing and information, outage notices, employee time recording, records management, clerical support, data entry, word processing, filing, mail processing, and various computer system training.

The preferred method for submitting work requests is the Electronic Work Order Request Form (EWORF). For urgent work requests please call 474-7000.
