Shuttle Bus

During Fall and Spring semesters the shuttles operate from 7:15 a.m.-10:30 p.m. with no service on UAF holidays or Saturdays or Sundays.

UAF Community and Technical College (UAF CTC)

Transportation to UAF CTC (604 Barnette) during the day can be accomplished by riding the MACS (Fairbanks North Star Borough) Bus.  The most direct route isto take the BLUE_LINE from the Wood Center bus stop to 7th Avenue at the State Bldg.

To return to campus from UAF CTC, ride the MACS-BLUE LINE from the 7th Avenue bus stop, the last pickup at that location will be 9:09 pm.  

Transportation on all MACS buses is free to anyone holding a current Polar Express Card, and it is very important that all passengers be at the bus stops on time.   The MACS buses are on time schedules and will not wait for late arrivals.

ADA Equipped Shuttle

UAF Shuttles are equipped to transport students, faculty, and staff with permanent or temporary disabilities between University facilities. Rides are provided free of charge and scheduled on a first call, first serve basis.
