The Plumbing Shop supervisor reports directly to the Director of Maintenance. The shop consists of licensed journeyman plumbers,
with state fire sprinkler licenses, NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technology) licenses, and flow testing licenses. This shop
understands the importance of education and of promoting employees within the organization so they offer a Plumbing
Apprenticeship Program.
The Plumbing Shop has a wide variety of responsibilities including; fire suppression inspecting, testing, and maintenance;
domestic water and sewage, including lift stations; steam and condensation systems; storm drains; air, vacuum, and gas
systems; autoclaves; viral waste kill tank boiler; pipe welding and fabrication.
