The student fire fighter association joins in on the fun at Starvation Gulch by accumulating unused wooden pallets from around the community.  This activity is put on by the University of Alaska Fairbanks in the fall.  Approximately six groups build up these pallets into towers, or figures and then light them afire. 

The Student Fire Fighter Association created an amazing pallet display for the Starvation Gulch Fire.
