VPN means Virtual Private Networking. It allows you access to restricted UAF network resources such as Banner*, shared network drives, etc. from a remote location.

VPN uses a secure "tunnel" through the Internet to connect you to UAF, allowing your computer to act as though it was plugged in on campus. In order to access the UAF VPN you need the following:

1. A connection to the Internet.
2. A Radius ID
3. The UAF VPN Client
