Tickets are not required for the commencement ceremony nor is there a charge to attend. A view of the graduates and the stage is excellent throughout the arena, but guests may wish to arrive early if they desire a particular seating area. The Carlson Center opens to guests at noon on Sunday, May 9.

To purchase invitations, caps and gowns, contact the i at (907) 474-6859.

If you have questions about your graduation status, contact the Graduation Office at (907) 474-7523 or (907) 474-6177, e-mail registrar@uaf.edu or stop by the office on the first floor of Signers' Hall.

The deadline for applying to graduate in May 2004 was Feb. 13.

Photography was provided by Farrar Photography. Shortly after commencement, information about packages featuring a candid photo of each graduate receiving a diploma as well as a formal portrait will be sent to each student at the address provided to the Graduation Office. Shuttle buses will be available by request only for transportation between the Wood Center bus stop and the Carlson Center. Graduates must make their request by Friday, April 30, by e-mailing commencement@uaf.edu or calling (907) 474-7581.
