NOTE: You may print these directions if you want a hard copy.
Videoconferences between OUP 160 and Gruening 717 do not need to be set up in advance by contacting VCS. Either location may dial the other directly.
If your plasma monitor is displaying some on-screen controls, you can dismiss them by clicking the Cancel button on the Tandberg remote. All of the functions can be accessed using only the remote.
- Arrange a time that participants can be at each location and decide which location will initiate the videoconference.
- Wake up the plasma monitor(s) in your location by clicking the OK button on the Tandberg remote.
- At OUP, turn on the overhead projector.

- If you are initiating the call from OUP, click the green Video Call button on the Tandberg remote. The plasma monitor will display the screen above. Enter 9071201879 on the remote's keypad and click the green Video Call button on the remote again.
- If you are initiating the call from Gruening, click the green Video Call button on the Tandberg remote. The plasma monitor will display the screen above. Enter 9071205917 on the remote's keypad and click the green Video Call button on the remote again.
- When you first connect, your local mic will be muted. Click the yellow Mic Off button on the Tandberg remote to unmute the mic when you are ready to begin speaking.
- Both locations: click the red Hang Up button on the Tandberg remote. Do NOT turn off the plasma monitor or the Tandberg camera. They will go into sleep mode by themselves after a while.
- If you were using the overhead projector/SMART Board at OUP, make sure and turn it off.
