Secondary Education Minor

Looking for a minor? Consider a Minor in Secondary Education.

A minor in secondary education is ideal for students interested in exploring the possibilities of a career in middle school or high school education, grades 7-12. The coursework provides a set of experiences that will help students decide if they want to be secondary teachers before entering a licensure program.

With a minor in secondary, students may substitute these courses required in the minor for some courses in the post baccalaureate licensure program.

Students who already hold baccalaureate degrees may also complete these courses prior to becoming admitted to the UAF Secondary Post-Baccalaureate Licensure Program.
