Secondary Endorsement Areas (7-12)
Candidates must meet the content requirements for one of the following areas to be accepted to the UAF Secondary Post-Baccalaureate Licensure Program. Field site experience is required in each area of requested endorsements. Content areas may not be available at all sites. Candidates must hold a four year degree from an accredited university/college.

*Candidates are required to submit Praxis II content test score(s) and an academic content analysis for each teaching area for which the applicant seeks an endorsement. Candidates are required to meet or exceed the State of Alaska’s list of approved Praxis II content test cut scores listed below.

Applicants applying to teach a World Language are not required to submit Praxis II scores in the target language but are required to submit scores for the ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview (OPic I I) and Writing Proficiency Test (WPT). Applicants must meet the “Advanced Low” rating for both tests.
