NCATE Welcome
Dear Colleagues,
Welcome to the University of Alaska Fairbanks School of Education’s Electronic Exhibit Room. We are looking forward to Dr. Houser’s visit in August and to your full NCATE team visit in September. We will hope for dry and sunny mid-September Fairbanks weather!
As you will discover as you begin to read our electronic Institutional Report (IR), the report is directly aligned with our Electronic Exhibit Room. In most sections of the IR, you will find that we have uploaded one attachment with a list of all exhibits related to that particular section of the IR. The name of each item on the list is a “hot link” so you will be able to open and view, if you choose to do so, all of the items in our Electronic Exhibit Room. We will have only a very limited number of exhibits that will be available to you as hard copies during your site visit—no more than will fit in one small box!
Our exhibit room is password-protected and we have sent the password, along with directions for getting to our School of Education Website and to the Electronic Exhibit Room, to Dr. Houser.
Here are a few general suggestions for accessing our exhibits.
Ninety-nine percent of our exhibits are in PDF format. This requires the use of Adobe Reader. If your computer does not have Adobe Reader 7.0 or higher please go to http://www.adobe.com and download the newest version of Adobe Reader. There is no charge for this. We have included the file size next to the link of all files that are over 10 MB in size, so that you may allow for extra download time during your review.

We hope that you will enjoy reading about our far north School of Education and that you will find strong and solid evidence in the exhibit room to support our belief that we have a great deal to offer and that you will understand the pride we have in our candidates, our faculty and our programs.
