Outdoor Ed Center

What is the Outdoor Education Center

The mission of the Outdoor Education Center is to not only to provide the UAF Campus community with fun recreation opportunities right here on campus but to inspire the campus to lead our active lifestyle with our passion for the outdoors and knowledge in the field of outdoor education.   We do this through our open hours, our instructional clinics, and innovative programming at our outdoor climbing tower, indoor climbing wall, nanook terrain park, and disc golf course.

Climbing Movement Clinic

Outdoor adventures is now offering rock climbing movement clinics. Each clinic will focus on footwork, body position, hand hold selection, route reading as well as basic crack climbing techniques.  All of the clinic time will be focused on the movement of climbing so climbers must have already completed  the climbing wall orientation.
