What is the Outdoor Education Center
The mission of the Outdoor Education Center is to not only to provide the UAF Campus community with fun recreation opportunities right here on campus but to inspire the campus to lead our active lifestyle with our passion for the outdoors and knowledge in the field of outdoor education. We do this through our open hours, our instructional clinics, and innovative programming at our outdoor climbing tower, indoor climbing wall, nanook terrain park, and disc golf course.

Climbing Clinics
Including Movement, Technical Skills and Route Setting clinics.
Ladies Climbing Night!
Get to know your fellow female Fairbanks climbers! FREE for all ladies.
When: Beginning in September, Monday nights from 6-8pm
Where: Outdoor climbing tower or Indoor Climbing wall (weather dependent)
Climbing Competitions
Top Rope Throwdown in the Fall, Ice Jam in the dead of winter & our annual Boulder Comp in the Spring.
