Call for Proposals

Deadline January 31, 2008

We are delighted this year to open up our 3rd annual event with a call for posters and round-table discussion proposals. If you are interested in presenting a poster or facilitating a round-table discussion you are encouraged to submit your proposal no later than January 31, 2008. Round-table discussion should generally relate to the theme of this institute and include presentations and discussions about a program in which you are involved, or a suggested topic that would benefit from dedicated discussion such as "How can I set up our learning environment for better cultural attunement? Sharing of strategies that demonstrate cultural sensitivity and attunement", etc.

You may also submit a poster that highlights your program, region, or similar efforts demonstrating innovations and excellence in teaching and learning.

Posters will be displayed throughout the institute with special dedicated sessions (with door prize drawings for participants) 5:00-5:45 on Wednesday and Thursday (also with door prize drawings for participants)  [Note: door prizes will definitely be valued at more than a box of Pilot Bread...if you know what that is... and less than a new snow machine!...You can count on it!].

The series of round-table discussions will be Thursday morning, 8:30-9:15
