UAF's CRCD Health Programs (HP) with university
and tribal partners, are creating a qualified health care workforce in rural
Alaska by targeting career preparation and training in Behavioral and Allied
Health and the Community Health Aid Program. HP works collaboratively to bring
health training to rural Alaskans, so that a college education can lead to a
sustainable job and career stability. HP aims to improve the quality and
availability of health services in rural, remote Alaska a vast, underserved
geographic area which has limited access to primary care or behavioral health
services.
Mission Statement
College of Rural and Community Development Health Programs promote and provide quality health education and training to rural Alaskans in collaboration with their communities responding to the needs of life long learners in a changing world.

Vision Statement
It is the vision of College of Rural and Community Development Health Programs to educate rural Alaskan high school students, adult learners and employers about health career possibilities.
