UAF's CRCD Health Programs (HP) with university and tribal partners, are creating a qualified health care workforce in rural Alaska by targeting career preparation and training in Behavioral and Allied Health and the Community Health Aid Program. HP works collaboratively to bring health training to rural Alaskans, so that a college education can lead to a sustainable job and career stability. HP aims to improve the quality and availability of health services in rural, remote Alaska a vast, underserved geographic area which has limited access to primary care or behavioral health services.
